Forex Broker Comparison: Exness, IC Markets and Tickmill

Put up to three brokers next to each other. Every cell carries the page we read and the day we read it, every broker has a weak-spots row, and we leave a cell blank rather than fill it from someone else’s review. We do not rank them.

Disclosure. The buttons at the top of each column are affiliate links. We may be paid if you open an account through them, at no cost to you. The order is fixed and is not a ranking or a recommendation. Facts come from each broker’s own pages, and a cell that says “not shown” was blank in the text we read. Availability depends on your country, and the company that serves you may differ from the one on a page. See our affiliate disclosure.

01How to read this table

  • “From” is a floor. A quoted starting spread is the lowest figure on a quiet market. What you pay depends on the pair, the time and your account. The floor-cost rows only turn those starting figures and the stated commissions into dollars for EURUSD, at $10 per pip per lot. They are not a typical cost.
  • Raw and standard are different shapes. A raw-type account charges a commission on top of a tight spread, so you cannot compare spreads across the two kinds alone. The trading cost calculator compares totals for your own trade size.
  • “Not shown” is not a no. It means the text we read did not say. We did not fill it from third-party sites.
  • Our own spread measurement is empty on purpose. We have not measured yet, and we will add dated measurements once we have them.

02What the table leaves out

A comparison of published facts cannot tell you how a broker handles withdrawals, support, slippage in fast markets or disputes. Those show up only after you use an account, and our table does not claim them. If you want to add your own, use the “Add your own” column and fill it from your own account and your own Client Agreement.

Whether an account type fits you is a separate question. The account type picker works from your balance and trading style, and the minimum capital calculator works from your smallest lot.

04Questions

Which forex broker is best?

There is no best broker in general, so this page does not name one. The right account depends on your country, your balance, how often you trade and what you need from a platform. Use the table to see how three brokers describe themselves, and verify the details yourself.

Why do the spreads say “from”?

Because the brokers publish starting figures, not averages. We list them as published and mark them as floors.

Why is there no spread measurement yet?

We measure spreads ourselves on real accounts and publish them with the date, the account type and the time. We have not published any yet, and we will not borrow someone else’s numbers.

Do you earn from the buttons?

Yes, we may be paid if you open an account through them. We list all three brokers with the same kinds of facts, and each has a weak-spots row. See the affiliate disclosure.

Risk warning. Forex and CFDs are leveraged products and most retail accounts lose money. A comparison of published terms is not a recommendation to use any broker and not financial advice. Rules for using offshore brokers differ by country, so check yours. Read the risk disclaimer.
