TachiTrade (“we”, “us”, “our”) runs the website tachitrade.com (the “Site”), which offers free forex and gold trading calculators and educational guides. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

1. Who we are

TachiTrade is run from Vietnam. We are the “data controller” of the personal data described here under the EU and UK GDPR and similar laws.

  • Email (privacy requests): tachiteam@gmail.com
  • Telegram (general questions): @tachiteam. Please do not send personal or account details there.

2. What we collect

  • Messages you send us: your name, email address and message, if you use our contact form, email or Telegram.
  • Email sign-ups: your email address (and your name, if asked) when you subscribe or download a free resource.
  • Usage data, collected automatically: pages viewed, links clicked, device and browser type, referring page, time of visit, and approximate location (country or city, from your IP address). See Section 5.
  • Security logs: IP address and request details, kept by our hosting and security tools to stop spam and attacks.

We never ask for passwords, broker or trading account logins, card numbers or ID numbers, and you should not send them to us. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data.

3. Our calculators

Our calculators run in your web browser. The numbers you type in (balance, risk percentage, stop-loss, lot size and so on) are not sent to or stored on our servers.

Some tools, such as a trading journal, save your entries in your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your device and we cannot see it. Clear your browser data to delete it.

Some tools load current exchange rates from a third-party data provider. Your browser contacts that provider directly, so it can see your IP address.

4. Why we use your data

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, these are our legal bases:

  • Run, secure and improve the Site: legitimate interests.
  • Reply to your messages: legitimate interests.
  • Send emails you asked for: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Analytics cookies: your consent, given through our cookie banner.
  • Follow the law: legal obligation.

We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on you. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies and analytics

  • Necessary cookies: keep the Site secure and working, protect forms from spam and remember your cookie choice. These are always on.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): count visits and show which pages and tools are used. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, we set them only after you accept. We keep analytics data for 14 months and do not use Google Signals or Google’s advertising features.
  • Partner cookies: when you click a partner link, the partner’s own website may set its own cookies.

You can change your choice with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, block cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Google’s use of data is explained in the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Affiliate links and third-party sites

Some links on the Site are affiliate or referral links. They include prop trading firms (such as The5ers), forex brokers (such as Exness) and VPS providers, as well as links to our own products on MQL5 Market. If you sign up or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We count in aggregate how many people click these links, without personal details. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Other websites collect and use your data under their own privacy policies, and we do not control them.

7. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with:

  • service providers that help us run the Site: our hosting provider (Hawkhost), Google Analytics, our email service provider, and security, anti-spam and backup tools;
  • professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it;
  • a buyer, if the Site or business is sold; and
  • anyone else, with your consent.

We do not sell personal data or share it for targeted advertising.

8. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. When data moves from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we use safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

9. How long we keep data

  • Messages: up to 24 months after our last contact.
  • Email list: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data: 14 months.
  • Security logs: up to 90 days.
  • Backups: up to 30 days.

We may keep data longer if the law requires it or to handle a legal claim.

10. Security

We use HTTPS, protected administrator access, a security plugin, software updates and backups. No website is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access your data and get a copy;
  • correct it or ask us to delete it;
  • restrict or object to our use of it, including for marketing;
  • receive it in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time; and
  • complain to a data protection authority.

This applies to residents of the EEA, the UK and Switzerland (GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), Vietnam (local data protection law) and other countries with similar laws. California residents also have the right to know what we collect, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data (we do neither), and not to be treated unfairly for using their rights. In the past 12 months we collected identifiers (IP address, email), internet activity, approximate location and the messages you sent us, and shared them only with the service providers in Section 7.

To use a right, email tachiteam@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask you to verify your identity, and we aim to reply within 30 days. To stop marketing emails, click “unsubscribe” in any email.

If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or to your EU data protection authority.

12. Children

The Site is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Do Not Track

There is no common standard for “Do Not Track” signals, so the Site does not respond to them. We do not sell or share personal data, so a Global Privacy Control signal does not change how we handle your data.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, show a notice on the Site or email subscribers.

15. Contact

Questions about this policy: tachiteam@gmail.com, or Telegram @tachiteam.
